I wear WEAR.

For this season ponchos and robes are super trendy. I just can't get enough of this pieces, they are really easy to wear. They go well with pretty much anything, always adding lots of style to plain looks.

I have to say that my ultimate favorite robe of my closet has to be this amazing feather print robe from "WEAR". I can literally wear it with anything anytime. I can either wear it on the beach with a bikini, crop tops and shorts or I can wear it for mild winter days, like in this look.

Wearing it makes me really happy, I feel super confident, stylish and simply great. I think it's a must having a robe on your closet. It will save your "I don't have anything to wear" kind of days. Mix it with a hat and you will look amazing.

Number 01.

I think one of the easiest pieces to wear is the basic "lbd". It can be a little tricky to wear it though, because it's so easy to wear it can also be boring looking. So my secret to wear a lbd is always buy  the dress with lots of attitude. With and edgy look so you would never look boring or predictable. Even if you just wear the dress with a pair of heels.

This dress is very casual, but it has the ability to look great with basically any pair of shoes, even the dressy ones. I can also add a denim or leather jacket or vest and it looks fresh and edgy.

Day dreaming

Last week I manage to organize my schedule and make some time for my blog. I been wanting to share with you, my every day outfits. Specially the ones I wear to work.

I have a creative job, that allows me to wear pretty much whatever I please. So I dress accordingly on the activities I have for the day.

My one and only rule for my working outfits is "Wear the same handbag"also, I have a small list of "I don't wear":
1. Distressed denim shorts.
2. Blazers. (they are boring and predictable).
3. Heavy make-up.
4. Basic tank-tops.
5. deep cleavages.
6. Maxi skirts or maxi dresses (unless I have a special occasion. To much fabric always gets in the way.)

I'm gonna be writing more about my every day working outfits, wearing the same bag, this month.

Thanks a lot for reading!!

Love affair

One of the things that make me so damn different from other girls is that I actually don't like having a standard boyfriend. For me having a relationship means a lot more than just the "cute" stuff, like holding hands, flowers, nicknames, etc.. I can't stand those things!

So whenever I want a pair of real boyfriend jeans I have to buy them. This is how I bumped into these amazing Distefano skinny jeans. They are actually for men, but they fit me perfect! Even my butt looks nice on them. (I'll post a picture of my butt wearing this jeans on my Instagram. So you can see it for yourselves.) They do not fit like the standard boyfriend fit jeans, that's why I had to have them.

I also wanted to show you guys 6 different ways of how I fold the hem of my jeans, and how I mix it with different pairs of shoes.

These super cool photos were taken by the beautiful and awesome Sarah Caroline Müller.

I hope you guys find this helpful Thanks a lot for reading!!

Simple summer, perfect days..

Guatemala is known for having an endless spring, but now it's known a lot more for its endless summer. For me that's totally fine! There is no greater feeling than a simple summer day.

These kind of days inspire me in such a way, that I just feel the need to create simple breeze summer outfits. I adore to wear girly dresses, this one in particular is simply perfect!! It's one of those magical pieces that become treasures in your closet. I found it in one of the most beautiful stores in Guatemala: BOHO.

I wore my BOHO drees on an unconventional way. I tucked the short dress underneath the lace dress inside my ripped shorts, added a pair of black ankle boots and I let my hair dance with the wind.

Don't forget to visit BOHO, I'm pretty sure you will find great pieces!!

Marble & Pink

One of my favorite textures of all times has been marble. I love how elegant and cold it is, it looks amazing in matte or polished. But I think what I love the most about it is how ancient it is and it's always on trend. (Now it's even a trendy print).

So why not wearing it! It's so perfect that it even looks cold and elegant on clothes.
For this outfit I wore a marble print mini skirt from Zara (no longer available) and mixed it with a basic t-shirt and a faux leather jacket in my favorite color: Pink!

I must say I failed with the shoes, I mean they look all right, but I think it would have looked much better with some ankle booties.

Where the Wild Things are.

Rainy days in Guatemala can be tricky sometimes. It's that period of the year when summer is saying goodbye and winter is starting, so the days can be really hot and all of a sudden cold and rainy.

For this kind of days I like wearing my usual summer outfits with a bit of my winter outfits. (just like the days). In this outfit I wore high waisted shorts with an over sized mesh tank (summer outfit) and added an over sized long cardigan and ankle boots in case it rained. (which did)

I think what I love the most about this kind of outfits is that you can look completely different just by adding one key piece. In this case my blue printed cardigan.

I also added a turban (which I did it myself), it finishes the total outfit making it look effortless and cool.
I think this is one of my favorite looks of the year so far. I just loved how it worked!!

#instameetgt

A couple of weeks ago was the world wide instameet, I had the pleasure to be part of this amazing project here in Guatemala. I really have to thank from the bottom of my heart to Mono del Espacio for making me part of this and most of all, believing in me. (you should all check his work out, it's incredible!)

That day was a really hot, but in the morning rained a little. So I decided to wear was a skort (for the heat), a super comfy tank from Zoad 1, (this tanks look great with anithyng you wear!) an amazing rain vest (in case it rained) and some high heel booties.

This is another way to wear a skirt for rainy days, again I think the key is layering (in this case the vest.) and the booties, so my feet wouldn't get wet. This is a more easy going outfit, super comfortable and I just felt great the whole day (I walked nonstop that day!).

Thank you so much Gustavo Dávila and Lester Liquens for this beautiful photos!!

Waltheria for rainy days

Thanks to the lovely anon who wrote me a couple of days ago, I am going to write a few posts of how I dress for grey rainy days, wearing shorts, skirts and dresses.

I think the best way to dress for rainy days is by adding layers to your outfit. By layers I don’t just mean adding a jacket or coat, it can also be stockings or leggings. These ones look really good with shorts, skirts and dresses. (Personally I don’t like to wear leggings unless I’m going to my yoga class, but I do wear stockings a lot.)

For this outfit I based it on this great shirt by Waltheria. I mixed it with short shorts and some black stockings underneath.

For the shoes, I wore my trusty chelsea ankle boots. These boots have the power to look great no matter what I wear them with! Besides, there is nothing I hate more than getting my feet wet, so the best way to avoid this, is wearing boots, boties or pumps.

I also wore my fantastic C'santos necklace to add a little pop of color to the whole outfit.

It was a look really easy and fun to wear, it kept me warm and comfortable the whole day!

Again, this amazing photos were taken by the talented photographer Pablo Estrada Segura.
