I wear WEAR.

For this season ponchos and robes are super trendy. I just can't get enough of this pieces, they are really easy to wear. They go well with pretty much anything, always adding lots of style to plain looks.

I have to say that my ultimate favorite robe of my closet has to be this amazing feather print robe from "WEAR". I can literally wear it with anything anytime. I can either wear it on the beach with a bikini, crop tops and shorts or I can wear it for mild winter days, like in this look.

Wearing it makes me really happy, I feel super confident, stylish and simply great. I think it's a must having a robe on your closet. It will save your "I don't have anything to wear" kind of days. Mix it with a hat and you will look amazing.

Simple summer, perfect days..

Guatemala is known for having an endless spring, but now it's known a lot more for its endless summer. For me that's totally fine! There is no greater feeling than a simple summer day.

These kind of days inspire me in such a way, that I just feel the need to create simple breeze summer outfits. I adore to wear girly dresses, this one in particular is simply perfect!! It's one of those magical pieces that become treasures in your closet. I found it in one of the most beautiful stores in Guatemala: BOHO.

I wore my BOHO drees on an unconventional way. I tucked the short dress underneath the lace dress inside my ripped shorts, added a pair of black ankle boots and I let my hair dance with the wind.

Don't forget to visit BOHO, I'm pretty sure you will find great pieces!!

These lovely photos were taken by my talented and awesome friend Pablo E. Segura.

Black dragons for rainy days.

I love sunny days, but my heart has a special place for grey days. I love when the days are slow, when you don't know what time it is, the smell of wet earth and the chilly drizzles. Personally I like to spend those days alone, enjoying the simple things the day is giving me.

For that, I don't see the point in wearing a color when the day is grey. I feel like if I do so, I'm sabotaging the nature of the day. I enjoy bringing all the feelings the day gives me through my outfits.

There is nothing better than wearing a comfy sweater on rainy days. It just comforts me in a really special and unique way. (No other piece makes me feel that way, I adore sweaters!) Plus, I love how versatile they are, I can wear them with pretty much anything.

Again, a special thanks to the genius Pablo Estrada Segura, for the amazing photos!!

Thanks so much for reading!!

DIY: Chopping a lace dress.

This is my first "do it your self" post. I must say, I really enjoy doing this kinds of projects in my spare time. I usually do it with pieces I already have in my closet, that I dont' love anymore. It's like giving new life to an old, dated piece.

For today's "DIY" I chose this long lace dress. I found this treasure in my aunt's closet, she told me she only wore it once, back on the 60's!!

I really loved how it fitted me, but it had an odd length. Besides it needed to have a sheer panel or something, the lace it's so beautiful but it didn't show because of the solid black lining underneath it.

My solution was to chop both, the lace dress and the lining in separate ways. I left the dress on a knee length and the lining shorter so it would have a lace panel on the bottom. I cut the hem following the lace's own natural shape, so it could have more exposure.

This is how I chopped a lace dress for my very first time. I really love the results, now it's a basic, trendy and chic dress. I am going to use it a lot more often now. I promise to share some looks with it.
